TNPSC CESE Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 24th November)

Junior Analyst in the Drugs Testing Laboratory:

• A Degree in Pharmacy: Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than one year

OR

• A Degree in Chemistry or A Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than two years

OR

• Candidates who possess Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a special subject: Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than one year.

Junior Chemist in Industries & Commerce Department:

• Must Possess a first or Second class Post Graduate Degree in any Branch of Chemistry of any university or institution recognized by the UGC

OR

• Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India).

Chemist in Industries & Commerce Department:

• A First or Second Class Degree in M.Sc., in Chemistry  OR Chemical Technology OR Industrial Chemistry OR Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India).
• Experience in research in pure or applied chemistry or Analytical Chemistry for a period of not less than 2 years.

Archaeological Chemist in Archaeological Department

• Must have Obtained M.Sc., (Chemistry) degree

Age Limit: (As on 1st July 2017)

• Maximum 30 Year of Age to apply

• Written Test
• Personal Interview

TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – Pay Scale

• Junior Analyst: ₹ 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4,600/-  Per Month

• Junior Chemist & Chemist: ₹ 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4,400/-  Per Month

• Archaeological Chemist: ₹ 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay ₹ 5,400/-  Per Month

TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – Application Fee

• One Time Registration Fee – ₹ 150/- (Applicants who have already registered in one time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.)

• Examination Fee – ₹ 150 /-
