Southern Railway Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Ex-ITI Candidates

FITTER, MACHINIST, ELECTRICIAN, MECHANIC DIESEL, MMV(Mechanic Motor Vehicle)

• Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
• Passed ITI course in relevant trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate

MECHANIC (Refrigeration & Air conditioning)

• Passed 10th Class Examination with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
• Passed ITI course in Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air conditioning) trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate

Electronics Mechanic

• Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system in  Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry or its equivalent and
• Passed ITI course in Electronics Mechanic or Mechanic (Radio and T.V) trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate

WELDER

• Passed 8th Class Examination and
• Passed ITI course in Welder trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate

PASAA (Programming and System Administration Assistant)

• Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
• NTC issued by NCVT in the trade of COPA (Computer Operator And Programming Assistant)

For Freshers i.e Non-ITI Candidates

WELDER: Passed 8th Class Examination

FITTER: Passed 10th Std. under 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (RADIOLOGY)

• 12 th standard Pass under 10 +2 system with Physics Chemistry and Biology

Age Limit: (As on 2^nd February 2018)

• For Ex-ITI Candidates: Upper Age limit is 24 Years
• For Freshers i.e Non-ITI Candidates: Upper Age limit is 22 Years

Southern Railway Recruitment 2018 – Pay Scale

For Mechanic DSL

• 1st Year: ₹ 5900/- PM.
• 2nd Year: ₹ 7550/- PM.
• 3rd Year: ₹ 6700/- PM.

For All Other Trades,

• 1st Year: ₹ 5700/- PM
• 2nd Year: ₹ 6500/- PM
• 3rd Year: ₹ 7350/-
