IOCL Recruitment 2019 for the post of Junior Engineering Assistant at Mathura Refinery, Junior Engineering Assistant, Junior Material Assistant/Junior Technical Assistant for Ex-Apprentices of Haldia Refinery/Guwahati Refinery, Officers/Engineers & Assistant Officers through GATE-2019 & Junior Engineering Assistant, Junior Nursing Assistant vacancies. The detailed eligibility and application process of IOCL Recruitment are given below.
The written test JEA under Chemical, Power & Utility, Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation will be on the month of Feb 2019. Applicants have to pass Diploma or its equivalent qualification from any recognized Board or Institute. The age limit should be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years. The upper age relaxation will be applicable as per Government Norms. Candidates selection is on the basis of written test and SPPT. Educational Qualification
Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)
3 years Diploma in Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized Institute/University.
Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Power & Utilities)
3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate
Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate (with class as may prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the state).
B Sc. (PCM) with an Apprenticeship Training in Boiler Trade.
3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University.
Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)
3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/University
Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)
3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute/University
or Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade with Pass class.
Junior Engineering Assistant–IV (Instrumentation)
3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
Note:
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA or any such equivalent qualification shall not be eligible.
Qualification of MSc (Chemistry) for the post of Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) shall not be considered a disqualification.
Age Limit (As on 31.12.2018)
- 18 to 26 years
Relaxations in upper age limit:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) candidates
- 10 years for PWD candidates (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
Others as per govt rules.
Selection Process
The selection methodology will comprise of Written Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) which will be of qualifying nature.
Shortlisted candidates to securing minimum qualifying marks in the written test, will be required to undergo a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT for each discipline shall be conducted by a duly constituted committee.
The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be 40% marks (relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories).
Application Fee
The Department has exempt Schedule caste, Schedule Tribe category candidates form the payment of an application fee for IOCL JEN Recruitment 2018. Applicants who belong to general and OBC category has to pay ₹ 150 for an application fee for IOCL Vacancy 2019.

Pay Band
The IOCL Department will pay a good amount of salary to the selected candidates for Junior Engineering Assistant Posts. Selected Applicants will get ₹ 11,900/- to 32,000/-
General Instructions
Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of educational qualification and other eligibility criteria before submission of on-line application.
A candidate employed in Govt./Govt. Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies will be required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of Written Test, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the SPPT.
Such candidates, if offered an appointment, shall be required to submit proper ‘Release Order’ from the employer at the time of joining, without which they will not be allowed to join.
General and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹ 150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) as application fee (non-refundable) though Online mode using either Debit/Credit Card or through Net-Banking only. The Bank Charges as applicable have to be borne by the candidates.
