The Age Relaxation will be applicable as per the norms of Government of India (GoI) i.e. for SC / ST Category candidates it is 5 Years from the upper age limit, for OBC category Candidates it is 3 Years from the upper age limit and for Ex-Service Men Category candidates it is available as per the Government Rules. Selection process for IAF Recruitment involves, Written Examination, Skill / Practical Test and finally Physical test. The Educational Qualification and other eligibility criteria, for the Post of Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – (i) Matriculation pass or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University, (ii) It is Must to having a valid civil driving licence for light and heavy duty vehicles, (iii) Should have the professional skills in vehicles driving and sound knowledge in motor mechanism, (iv) Should have Minimum two years of experience in driving motor vehicles.
For the Post of Fitter Mechanical Transport (A) (SK) – (i) SSLC (10th) pass from a recognised Board or Institute, (ii) Should have the Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate field or trade i.e. Fitter Mechanical Transport from a recognized Institute or Ex-serviceman in appropriate trade i.e. NAG Mechanical (Motor Vehicle). For the Post of Coppersmith & Sheet Metal Worker (C & SMW) – (i) SSLC (10th) pass from a recognized Board or Institute, (ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Copper Smith and Sheet Metal Worker from a recognized Institute with the 1 year of experience in the relevant field or Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade or field i.e. Workshop Fitter (C & SMW).

- Download Indian Air Force Group ‘C’ Notification & Application form.
- Read all the instructions mentioned in the Advertisement.
- Eligible candidates can apply for the above Air Force Station of their choice which is subject to the vacancies and qualifications.
- Fill in the required details
- Duly fill the Application Form which is given under (Typed in English / Hindi)
- Attach with the relevant documents so as to reach the concerned Air Force Station on or before the Last date of submission 4th September, 2017.
