Long Wait Over: TNPSC Group-4 Exam Results 2022 Expected to be Released Today

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is set to release the results for the Group-4 exam that was conducted on 24th July 2022. The exam was conducted to fill vacancies in various departments, and it saw a record-breaking number of applicants with 22,02,942 applications received. Out of the total number of applicants, 18,36,535 candidates participated in the exam. The exam was conducted with the highest number of candidates compared to other exams conducted across India.

TNPSC had earlier announced that the results would be released in June, but the results were not announced even after several months. This led to various parties urging the commission to release the results quickly. TNPSC then announced that the Group-4 exam results would be published in March, but the results were not released until now.

The delay in the announcement of the results has caused concern among the examinees who have taken to Twitter to express their frustration. The hashtag #WeWantGroup4Results has been trending on the social media platform, with many sharing memes related to the delay.

According to a report released by TNPSC, the delay is due to the two-part integrated answer sheet system introduced by the examination board to avoid any mistakes. Both parts of the answer sheets are scanned twice, and the errors made by the candidates are identified through the computer and checked by the officials. Verification works require excessive time. The report also stated that about 16 types of errors made by the candidates against the instructions in the answer sheets have to be checked.

The number of candidates for the Group-4 exam this time is more than the past five years. As a result, there are over 36 lakh OMR answer sheets that need to be checked, which is a mammoth task. However, the commission has now announced that the results will be declared by the end of this month, which is great news for the candidates who have been eagerly waiting for the announcement.

In conclusion, the TNPSC Group-4 exam results are highly anticipated, and candidates can expect to know their scores soon. The commission has assured that they are working hard to ensure that the results are accurate and will be released as soon as possible.
